News about the Skyview Choir and Orchestra programs
Here's the information regarding the canceled trip to Anaheim:
Dear Chamber Choir Families -
This year has been a crazy whirlwind of new situations and large disappointments as life takes a completely unexpected turn for all of us. Thank you all for your patience while the boosters worked diligently dealing with setting things right for everyone after our tour to Anaheim was cancelled.
We have negotiated with WorldStrides and each student will receive a full refund of all out-of-pocket payments made towards the Anaheim tour (up to $1450). All fair share payments and any fund-raised points that were applied towards the Anaheim tour will remain with the boosters.
We are on the first round of refunds that WorldStrides will be sending out to schools with cancelled festivals, so that means that we can expect to see the refund check sometime in late May. At that time, it will take some processing time for checks to be written and sent out in the mail to everyone. We hope that everyone has their refund in hand by the end of June.
Everyone will be mailed their refund at the same time. Each refund will be one check. If several people helped you to pay for the tour, it is up to you to divide up the refund.
I know this timeline seems long, but please remember that we worked hard to be in the first round of refunds, so we will see these funds before many other schools will.
